From the very beginning of field work a considerable effort has been focused on conservation and preservation of exposed architectural remains and other finds. During the first three seasons of excavation this assistance has been provided by Mr. Kimi Maman and his team of conservators from the National Parks Authority. Since 2003 conservation works on the whole site was supervised by Mrs. Ewa Radziejowska-Parandowska (from the National Museum in Warsaw) with the assistance of Msr. Julia Burdajewicz (from the Faculty of Conservation and Restoration of Works of Art, Academy of Fine Arts in Warsaw) as a second senior conservator of the site and coordinator of works in the North-West Church Complex, and during the years 2011-2013 as senior conservator to the whole site of Hippos.
